Call for Tutorials – Tutorials at ICASSP form an important part of the program, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about current research areas that are of growing interest to the signal processing community. Therefore, the tutorials should be prepared and presented to a wide audience. Prospective presenters may discuss their proposals with one of the tutorial chairs before the submission.
Call for Special Sessions – The program for ICASSP 2019 will include Special Sessions that complement the main program in line with the theme of the conference. Please refer to the conference webpage for information about Special Session proposals and submissions.
Call for Exhibitors and Sponsors – ICASSP offers exhibitors and companies an opportunity to showcase their products and innovative solutions during the event in Brighton, UK. Please check the conference webpage for information about signing up to become an exhibitor or sponsor at ICASSP.
Signal Processing Letters – Authors of IEEE Signal Processing Letters (SPL) papers will have the opportunity to present their work at ICASSP 2019, subject to space availability and approval by the Technical Program Chairs. SPL papers published between October 28, 2017 and October 27, 2018 are eligible for presentation at ICASSP 2019. The SPL papers presented at ICASSP will neither be reviewed nor included in the proceedings.
Signal Processing Letters and Journal Submissions
Authors of IEEE Signal Processing Letters (SPL) and IEEE Signal Processing Journals will have the opportunity to present their work at ICASSP 2019, subject to space availability and approval by the Technical Program Chairs. SPL papers published between October 28, 2017 and October 27, 2018 are eligible for presentation at ICASSP 2019. The SPL papers presented at ICASSP will neither be reviewed nor included in the proceedings.
Presentation requests must be submitted by January 14, 2019.
- Eligible papers have been published in Signal Processing Letters prior to the conference paper submission deadline (October 29, 2018), and are valid for the next appropriate eligible conference/workshop within a year of initial publication date. For ICASSP 2019, the eligible SPL Papers are those published between October 28, 2017 and October 27, 2018.
- Topic should be aligned with the conference’s technical program. Author(s) must request to present at the most imminent edition of the appropriate eligible conference/workshop after publication.
- Papers can only be submitted to one eligible conference and not to multiple events.
- Copyright to the original paper has already been transferred to IEEE.
- Authors are aware of our interest in reusing their material.
- Journal paper presentations must be limited to 5% of total accepted papers.
- Conference Technical Program Chair determines which papers will be presented.
- Conference organizers decide if the paper will be presented in a special session for journal papers or included with the other conference/workshop sessions.
- Accepted authors must meet the same registration requirements as all authors.
Journal papers chosen for presentation will be included in the conference proceedings, by downloading the original paper from IEEE Xplore® to include on conference proceedings for attendees. However, journal papers will not be included in the conference proceedings for inclusion to IEEE Xplore®.
Submitting a presentation request will require the following information about your paper:
- Complete Author List
- Journal Volume No.
- Journal Issue No.
- DOI Number or URL to IEEE Xplore page
The submissions to the SPL Journal Presentations are now open. Please submit your journal details here.
Note: The submissions system includes a drop-down list of Signal Processing Society (SPS) co-sponsored journals and as well has an option to suggest any other SPS co-sponsored journal that is not otherwise listed.
Any inquiries can be sent through email@example.com
Signal Processing Letter Submissions - Chair
Each presentation time slot is 20 minutes including lecture and discussion (questions and answers). Each presentation has its own time slot which cannot be changed or shifted. Therefore, the speakers are expected to make best use of the slot and leave sufficient time, 3-4 minutes, for question and answers. Presenters must check-in with the Session Chair prior to the session start. The presenters can upload their presentation slides in the preparation room or in the presentation room before start of the session. All presentation rooms are equipped with a computer, a data projector, a microphone, and a lectern.
There are a large number of poster presentations during this year meeting. The poster sessions are a good medium for authors to present their posters and meet with interested attendees for in-depth technical discussions.
The poster area includes poster boards of 2m wide and 1m high suitable for A0 size posters (so any poster should be smaller than this). In addition, sufficient push tacks or Velcro adhesive will be provided for mounting the posters. The presenters have time to mount their poster during the break prior to each session. They must check-in with the Session Chairs prior to the session start and remain with their posters throughout the presentation. Failing to do this may lead to marking no-show or absence of the author. Please remove your poster at the end of your allocated session. Posters left mounted to the boards after end of the session will be removed and disposed.
