Call for Tutorials – Tutorials at ICASSP form an important part of the program, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about current research areas that are of growing interest to the signal processing community. Therefore, the tutorials should be prepared and presented to a wide audience. Prospective presenters may discuss their proposals with one of the tutorial chairs before the submission.
Call for Special Sessions – The program for ICASSP 2019 will include Special Sessions that complement the main program in line with the theme of the conference. Please refer to the conference webpage for information about Special Session proposals and submissions.
Call for Exhibitors and Sponsors – ICASSP offers exhibitors and companies an opportunity to showcase their products and innovative solutions during the event in Brighton, UK. Please check the conference webpage for information about signing up to become an exhibitor or sponsor at ICASSP.
Signal Processing Letters – Authors of IEEE Signal Processing Letters (SPL) papers will have the opportunity to present their work at ICASSP 2019, subject to space availability and approval by the Technical Program Chairs. SPL papers published between October 28, 2017 and October 27, 2018 are eligible for presentation at ICASSP 2019. The SPL papers presented at ICASSP will neither be reviewed nor included in the proceedings.
Signal Processing Letters and Journal Submissions
Authors of IEEE Signal Processing Letters (SPL) and IEEE Signal Processing Journals will have the opportunity to present their work at ICASSP 2019, subject to space availability and approval by the Technical Program Chairs. SPL papers published between October 28, 2017 and October 27, 2018 are eligible for presentation at ICASSP 2019. The SPL papers presented at ICASSP will neither be reviewed nor included in the proceedings.
Presentation requests must be submitted by January 14, 2019.
Eligibility
- Eligible papers have been published in Signal Processing Letters prior to the conference paper submission deadline (October 29, 2018), and are valid for the next appropriate eligible conference/workshop within a year of initial publication date. For ICASSP 2019, the eligible SPL Papers are those published between October 28, 2017 and October 27, 2018.
- Topic should be aligned with the conference’s technical program. Author(s) must request to present at the most imminent edition of the appropriate eligible conference/workshop after publication.
- Papers can only be submitted to one eligible conference and not to multiple events.
- Copyright to the original paper has already been transferred to IEEE.
- Authors are aware of our interest in reusing their material.
- Journal paper presentations must be limited to 5% of total accepted papers.
- Conference Technical Program Chair determines which papers will be presented.
- Conference organizers decide if the paper will be presented in a special session for journal papers or included with the other conference/workshop sessions.
- Accepted authors must meet the same registration requirements as all authors.
Journal papers chosen for presentation will be included in the conference proceedings, by downloading the original paper from IEEE Xplore® to include on conference proceedings for attendees. However, journal papers will not be included in the conference proceedings for inclusion to IEEE Xplore®.
Submitting a presentation request will require the following information about your paper:
- Title
- Abstract
- Complete Author List
- Journal Volume No.
- Journal Issue No.
- DOI Number or URL to IEEE Xplore page
The submissions to the SPL Journal Presentations are now open. Please submit your journal details here.
Note: The submissions system includes a drop-down list of Signal Processing Society (SPS) co-sponsored journals and as well has an option to suggest any other SPS co-sponsored journal that is not otherwise listed.
Any inquiries can be sent through spl.submissions@icassp2019.com

Additional Opportunities for Accepted Papers
Increase the visibility, impact, and reproducibility of your research
For ICASSP 2019 authors, free resources are available to upload content associated with your paper!IEEE SigPort
Upload your presentations or posters in PDF format to share with other conference attendees. By posting your information, it will promote visibility of your work, and easier access to conference presentation slides. Accepted authors will receive an email with instructions and a complimentary code to add content. Visit IEEE SigPort to learn more at: ICASSP-2019 - SigPortIEEE DataPort
Upload up to 2TB of data associated with your conference paper to IEEE DataPort at no cost. Uploading your data will enhance the value of your article, support research reproducibility, and may even result in more citations for you since each dataset uploaded to IEEE DataPort is assigned a unique DOI that can be cited and referenced! To add your datasets or learn more, visit IEEE DataPortCode Ocean
Include associated code, software simulations, algorithms, and more for article readers to understand what produced the results. Articles in the IEEE Xplore® digital library will display the associated and executable code from Code Ocean. Published code is fully citable and receives a DOI for better discoverability. To add your code or learn more, visit Code OceanPaper submission
